Safe Working Earns Money for Piggybank Kids

Fife (3 April 2007) -- A cheque presentation event will be held at the Fife Ethylene Plant on Tuesday, 10 April at 10.00 hours.

A cheque for £1,500 will be presented to the following local charity:

Piggybank Kids - The Jennifer Brown Research Fund

Mrs Sarah Brown will accept the cheque on behalf of the Jennifer Brown Research Fund.

The monies were raised through the company's Safety Incentive Scheme, and the recipient charity was chosen by members of staff.

Fife Ethylene Plant's Operations manager, Ken Francey, will present the cheque.

Ken Francey commented: "Safety is a priority for everyone working at FEP, and obviously everyone benefits on a daily basis by ensuring that 'Nobody Gets Hurt'. It is also great for us to see a local organisation reap the rewards of our safe working practices."
