Leatherhead (1 April 2008) -- Robert S. Franklin, formerly executive assistant to the chairman of Exxon Mobil Corporation, has been appointed to the position of chairman of ExxonMobil International Limited and vice president, Europe/Caspian/Russia, for ExxonMobil Production Company, based in Leatherhead, Surrey. He has also been appointed chairman of Esso Petroleum Company Limited, Esso Exploration and Production UK Limited and Mobil North Sea LLC.
Robert C. Olsen, who formerly held the above positions, was appointed to the position of executive vice president of ExxonMobil Production Company, based in Houston, USA.
Both appointments were effective April 1.

There are around 7,000 ExxonMobil employees in the UK. The company invests over £2 million per year in community programmes focussing on education, environmental and neighbourhood projects.
