ExxonMobil produces specialty petroleum products including bitumen, waxes, process oils and white oils.

Bitumen, which is used predominantly by the roofing and road surfacing industries, is the most important of our specialty products.  

Bitumen is produced at the Esso refinery at Fawley. It is transported by road and sea direct to customers, and by rail to bitumen plants at Birmingham and Plymouth.
