How can I use Nectar at Esso?
Esso Nectar gives you points when you fill up at participating Esso service stations.
You can collect and spend Nectar points at participating Esso service stations. You can either swap the points you collect to get 5p per litre off fuel at our service stations, or you can spend them at other Nectar partners.
Swap 300 Nectar points to get 5p off per litre
Use your Nectar points to get a discount on fuel at participating Esso service stations. All you need to do is put a minimum of 10 litres into your car, scan your Nectar card or pay through the Esso App and you’ll have the option to swap 300 Nectar points for 5p off per litre.

How to collect
When you pay, simply use the Esso
App or scan your Nectar, and the
points will be added to your Nectar
account automatically.
Paying for fuel and collecting Nectar points is easy with the Esso App. Simply link your Nectar account to your Esso App and the next time you use the app to pay at a participating Esso service station, your points will be added automatically.
You can also get 5p off per litre by swapping 300 Nectar points when you pay in store or via the app.

Step 1
Download and set up the Esso App at home (it only takes a few minutes). Don’t forget to link your Nectar card to your account.

Next time you fill up at an Esso service station, open the Esso App and select your pump.

Select your payment option for secure, one touch payment. Then fill up as normal.

Step 4
When you’ve filled up, you will receive confirmation that your transaction was successful and a receipt will be available in your app. That’s it!
Esso App Offers
2, 4, 6, 8… an offer you’ll appreciate
With this offer, the more you fill up, the more your points get topped up. Your 2nd, 4th, and 6th refills will earn you four, six and eight times the Nectar points respectively. Once you’ve hit your 8th refill, you’ll get a bonus 750 points on top. The offer is for a limited time only, so make sure you keep an eye on how long you’ve got to fill up. If you refill eight times while the offer is still running don’t worry, the offer will reset and start again once your offer period has ended.

- Esso reserves the right to cancel, terminate, suspend or change the ability to collect and or redeem Nectar points at Esso branded service stations without notice (including, but not limited to suspension arising out of non-availability of the App or technical failure generally or at a particular Esso branded service station). Esso shall not be responsible for any losses suffered or incurred as a direct or indirect result of the act of cancellation, termination, suspension or change in the availability of the Nectar scheme at Esso branded service stations. Nothing in these terms shall limit Esso’s liability for death, personal injury or fraud.
- The terms and conditions for use of Nectar card and issuance or spending of Nectar points at participating Esso branded service stations may be amended, varied and/or supplemented by Esso Petroleum Company, Limited (“Esso”) at any time in its absolute discretion and without prior notice.
Terms and conditions new Esso sites 3x Nectar points offer (the “Offer”)
- This Offer to receive 3x Nectar points is open to all Nectar collectors resident in the United Kingdom who make a Qualifying Purchase during the Offer Window as set out below.
- To enter the Offer, simply make a purchase of 1L or more of fuel in the first Qualifying Transaction at participating Esso branded stations within the Offer Window (see details below) that accept the Nectar card and present your Nectar card at the time of payment (the “Qualifying Purchase”).
- The Offer will be available at different times and different Esso branded stations throughout the year.
- Offer valid until 31 December 2025.
- Where multiple Esso offers in addition to the Offer are loaded to your Nectar card, bonus points will be awarded for the qualifying transactions relating to the respective offers in order of first saved. Nectar points cannot be awarded retrospectively.
- Nectar points will be awarded within 28 days of Offer Window expiry. Points collected at participating Esso branded service stations will be credited to your Nectar account by Nectar 360 Limited and included in your statement for redemption via existing Nectar redemption options.
- Employees of the Promoter, Nectar Loyalty Ltd or any subsidiary, third party company or agency directly connected with the creation and administration of this promotion may only participate in this promotion when being issued Nectar points on personal purchases. Esso reserves the right to verify the eligibility of entrants.
- Esso reserves the right to cancel, terminate, suspend or change the ability to earn or spend Nectar points at Esso branded service stations without notice (including, but not limited to suspension arising out of non-availability of the App or technical failure generally or at a particular Esso branded service station). Esso shall not be responsible for any losses suffered or incurred as a direct or indirect result of the act of cancellation, termination, suspension or change in the availability of the Nectar scheme at Esso branded service stations.
- Transactions using Key Fuels or UK Fuels bunker card(s) are not Qualifying Purchases and are not eligible for Nectar points.

- This offer is open to all Nectar card holders’ resident in the United Kingdom who make a Qualifying Purchase between 00.01 on 20 November 2025 and 23:59 on 3 December 2025 (“Offer Window”).
- To enter the offer customers must buy 10L or more of fuel purchased at a participating Esso branded service station that accepts the Nectar card in the UK (excluding Northern Ireland or Tesco branded Esso sites) (“Qualifying Purchase”).
- Nectar points can only be spent at participating Esso branded service stations only (excluding Northern Ireland and Tesco branded Esso sites).
- Nectar collectors can in exchange of 600 Nectar points receive: (i) a 10 pence per litre discount (the “Discount”); and (ii) 100 bonus Nectar points from a Qualifying Purchase. The Discount applies on the first 60 litres only. A maximum of 600 points can be exchanged for the Discount in a single transaction. Nectar points cannot be spent on non-fuel purchases.
- Customers must scan their Nectar card at the time of payment. Alternatively, a customer can pay for their Qualifying Purchase using the Esso App. For Esso App purchases, the Nectar card must be added to the Esso App account prior to the transaction.
- Transactions using Key Fuels, UK Fuels bunker card(s), Esso Card, Esso Commercial Vehicle Card, EuroShell, DKV and Allstar BP Supercharge are not Qualifying Purchases and are not eligible for the Nectar redemption option or this offer
- Nectar points will be awarded within 28 days of Offer Window expiry to the primary account holder. Points collected at participating Esso branded service stations will be credited to your Nectar account by Esso and included in your statement for redemption via existing Nectar redemption options.
- Nectar points cannot be spent retrospectively.
